Broken Is Broken

Tearless cries, dry eyes
A fan blowing, music's on.
Eyes watching, everywhere.
But never seeing, not believing,
That the strongest person, has the most fragile heart.
Bleeding, Screaming, For someone to listen.
Someone to care.
Needing to get out of here, but to where?
How to get out of the trap?
Kick, Scream, Punch or Bite?
That only makes these bars tighten.
Close the eyes; reach for the morning sky,
Only to be burned.
Pick up the broken pieces and put them together.
Only there's not enough glue to make it fit right.
Loneliness, the pitiful looks.
No one senses the pain in this fractured soul.
No one understands, this hearts emptiness.
If they did, they could never handle it.
Never underestimate the power of the unintentional cruelty.
Though unintentional it scorns just as bad.
Broken, even put back together again is still broken.
Glue a drinking glass back together and it will still leak.
Put a fractured soul back together and it will still cry,
Yet it will never truly,
Speak
